Valence 1.8.2 - A clearer first reply

You can now see the model loading, and there is no more empty reply bubble.

What’s new

• You can see the model loading. The first message after starting Valence shows one status line above the reply — the model’s name, its load steps and how many seconds it has taken — instead of an empty reply bubble.
• The answer shows as it is written. The reply bubble appears only when the answer starts, and the text shows from the first word. Before that, the status line says what is happening: “Reading your message…”, or the name of the file it is reading.

Fixes

• While the model loads, the animated background now runs behind the top bar and the message box too, instead of stopping at solid strips.
• “Loading weights” and “Responding” no longer sit side by side inside an empty bubble.

1.8.2 also carries everything in 1.8.1 and 1.8.0.
